Christine was involved in multiple projects through the Native American Language Center during her undergraduate studies at UC Davis. She worked as a transcriber of John P. Harrington's field notes documenting the Mutsun language, as well as on the NSF-funded Hupa Language Documentation Project. She also had the honor of participating in fieldwork with Hupa language expert Verdena Parker on multiple occasions.
