Hello, world! My name is Tyler Lee-Wynant. I am a junior specialist at the Native American Language Center with a background in linguistics. My main area of interest is language activism, especially in regard to language protection and reawakening. In particular, I seek to help bridge the gap between the interests of heritage language learners and the efforts of linguistics research. At the NALC, I am currently assisting the Mellon-funded Sustainable Futures project where we are developing several resources (e.g. dictionaries) to facilitate engagement with linguistic documentation for heritage language learners of Native Californian languages.
